Elder Scrolls Online – Stonethorn DLC Reveal

The next Elder Scrolls Online: Greymoor DLC was announced. It's called Stonethorn and it's a dungeon DLC. By now, everyone knows that there are two types of ESO DLCs. We have the adventure DLCs that add a new zone, quests, and all that. The second type is the dungeon DLC that adds two dungeons. Stonethorn challenges adventures to group up and discover two new dangerous locations. The two new dungeons will tie in with the Dark Heart of Skyrim story. This is the yearly adventure that is currently taking place in the game. It all started with the Harrowstorm DLC.
We've seen how the story unfolds in the Greymoor expansion but things are far from over. We still have a long way to go until we reach the conclusion of the yearly adventure. The Stonethorn DLC brings us one step closer. Even if the DLC does not contain quests, it still has a great deal of lore. The best part about it is that it caters to all players. Whether you haven't completed Harrowstorm and/or Greymoor, you'll still make sense of the Stonethorn stories. Players who didn't even touch the new expansion will have no trouble understanding what's going on in this new adventure.
Castle Thorn and Stone Garden are the new dungeons. Castle Thorn is home to Lady Thorn. She commands a great army of Vampires and, as you can imagine, this spells trouble for the lands of Western Skyrim and her people. Players must make their way into the fortress and stop Lady Thorn and her hordes before it's too late. Stone Garden is the second dungeon. The good news is that you get to take a break from fighting vampires. The bad news is that you will face other terrible monsters.
The location of the Stone Garden is a very familiar place. You will find this dungeon in Blackreach. Get ready to discover another secret buried in this grand cave. Arkasis the Alchemist has established a laboratory here and he's not working towards a good cause. You will have to fight against the monsters of Blackreach and the alchemist's creations.
Should you vanquish the enemies in the Castle Thorn and Stone Garden, you will be rewarded with new item sets and collectibles. Achievements that stand as proof that you've conquered the challenges are part of the rewards as well. Elder Scrolls Online will also receive a free game patch that brings more exciting things to the game. There is no date yet for the update and the DLC release.
