Elder Scrolls Online - Gates Of Oblivion Reveal Event

Elder Scrolls Online is getting ready for the next adventure. What we know about the new major content update is that is coming in 2012 and it is called Gates of Oblivion. It was revealed at The Games Awards show. We have a teaser video showing a glimpse into this new chapter. The movie features a familiar character, Eveli Shap-Arrow. She is a Bosmer that was present in several quests in Orsinium. We see Eveli sleeping and dreaming of something terrible. It seems like an evil is making its way towards us and Eveli sees it all in her dream. The dream ends with Eveli standing close to one of the most iconic villains in The Elder Scrolls universe, Mehrunes Dagon, the Daedric Prince of destruction. If you are familiar with the single-player TES games, you know him from An Elder Scrolls Legend: Battlespire and TES IV: Oblivion. He was the primary bad guy in both games. It seems that Mehrunes Dagon is making a comeback in Elder Scrolls Online. That's all we know for now. The teaser left us wanting for more but at least we know when we will find out more about the Gates of Oblivion.
The Global Reveal Event for the 2021 adventure will take place on January 21st. This will be an online event. Those who are interested can catch the stream on Twitch at 17:00 EST. Matt Firor, Rich Lambert, and Pete Hines host the show. Firor is the director of ZeniMax Online Studio. Pete Hines the is man in charge of marketing and communications at Bethesda Softworks. Lambert is the creative director of the game. We will also have several members of the development team. They will be there to tell us more about the new adventure. We don't know what 2021 will bring, but we know that we will have new challenges, systems, and worlds. After the presentation event, members of the community team will talk in detail about the adventure. They will shed light on the content updates that are coming in 2021. As you can imagine, the dates are not fixed yet but we will have a better idea of what to expect and when.
