Dread Cellar is part of the next Elder Scrolls Online content update. It's a dungeon included in the upcoming Waking Flame DLC. The DLC is the first content update after the Blackwood chapter. The DLC and the expansion are part of the Gates of Oblivion adventure. The Waking Flame DLC releases on August 23^rd. It features two dungeons.

What We Know About Elder Scrolls Online Dread Cellar

ESO Dread Cellar is located in Blackwood. You will find it in the northern hills of the province. It was once a prison where the most dangerous criminals were sent. The inmates were terrible and the guards were even worse. In recent years, the prison became a base of operation for the Waking Flame, a cult that worships Mehrunes Dagon. The Imperials have heard about this from Lyranth Foolkiller so they sent out a party to investigate the former prison. No one knows what to expect as the place was a mystery even before the cult took over. Players will join a group of battle mages. Their mission is to investigate the magical energies around the prison and to discover the Waking Flame's plans. This is no peaceful exploration mission as the place is home to many threats. The players will face Mehrunes Dagon's followers. They must defeat packs of cultists and Daedric beasts. The cultists use fire magic so get ready for that. Xivilai enemies are also found in the dungeon. There are two types of these mobs who are almost as hard as bosses. Speaking of that, Elder Scrolls Online Dread Cellar is a dungeon with three bosses. Scorion Broodlord is one of these bosses. It's a spider boss that uses portals for quick movement. The dungeon can be tackled on normal and veteran difficulties. Each boss has a veteran hard mode available. Players that manage to conquer this challenge receive amazing items. The rewards from ESO Dread Cellar include collectibles, equipment, item sets, and more. We have four items sets: monster, light, medium, and heavy. Each has unique bonuses. One of the sets allows players to boost the magicka and stamina regeneration rate and DPS for the entire party when damaging an enemy with a heavy attack. Achievements and collectibles are among the rewards as well. Completing the dungeon on veteran difficulty rewards a new memento, titles, and housing items. The Scorion Pyreling pet is easily obtained the first time you enter a Waking Flame dungeon.
