Recently, the developers held a Legacy of the Bretons Autumn Event livestream that revealed details about the latest story arc set to be introduced into the game later next month – the Firesong DLC!
ESO’s High Isle expansion set the tone for players to uncover the histories and understand the culture of the once-mysterious Bretons.
With the Legacy of the Bretons story arc reaching its final stages, it was now time to continue the storyline by welcoming a new ESO Chapter come next month – the Firesong DLC!
Within the Systres archipelago that both High Isle and Amenos are located, another island of mystique and intrigue will now open its gates to allow you to explore its sacred lands – unearthing a local strife that ties closely to the Bretons’ history as well.
The island of Galen is home to clans of Druids, each with its own beliefs and traditions that seem to conflict with one another.
Though you will find two of them trusting of you, the Firesong clan will be the most hostile, and they are the main antagonistic faction that plays a major role in the final events of the Legacy of Breton narrative.
Help the local Bretons and allied Druids protect their land and people, constantly under attacks by the Firesong, the Dreadsail, and Sea Elves who persistently threaten the fragile peace currently enjoyed by all in the Systres.
Though Firesong is not officially out yet, its prologue quest is already released, letting you start your adventure in Galen right now!
Banding with Dhulef from the Mages Guild and Druid Laurel of the Stonelore, you set forth to unravel the relationship between the legends of the Druid King and their impact on the Druids’ current struggles on the island.
Titled “Sojourn of the Druid King”, you can start the quest by picking it up from the in-game Crown Store, receiving a neat character emote after completing it too.
Additionally, if the whole player base manages to complete (100%) the Heroes of High Isle event that is currently underway, you will be rewarded with the Firesong DLC for free (only available for High Isle players)!
Partake in the event now before the start of other exciting celebrations coming in ESO – Witches Festival (October 2022), Dark Heart of Skyrim Celebration (November 2022), New Life Festival (December 2022).
The Firesong DLC is expected to be released on 1st November 2022 for PC and Mac, with 15th November 2022 being the date for PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
